Requirements:

  • One to two years experience in a switchboard/receptionist setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Interpret and assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures; coordinate recruitment process including new employee orientation; coordinate performance reviews program; assist with the processing and administration of various functions of the District's employee benefit plans and programs; assist with processing and administration of District self-insured Workers Compensation program; maintain and document HR department software system; provide information assistance and support to employees; conduct salary and benefit surveys with outside agencies; update the District's EEO Plan annually; coordinate and administer various District employee programs and activities; prepare and distribute a variety of reports, memos, and correspondence; maintain files and records; train and assist department staff.

OTHER RELATED DUTIES

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Any combination of education, experience, knowledge and abilities may satisfy the necessary minimum qualifications.

Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of and familiarity with basic office procedures and equipment; knowledge of HR practices and principles including Workers Compensation statutes and procedures.     Job Requirements:

  • Experience with the disability claims process as a Social Security claims rep or DHS eligibility worker desired a plus

     Tracks order from receipt through shipment.  Process SF.com cases for RMA/ARMA and sales-ops cases, includes sales order entry thru shipment and updating SF.com with S/N and tracking information.  Follow-up with Client Services/Sales Exec to ensure client managed services are renewed in a timely manner.  Quote creation as directed by Sales Representative.  Responsible for accurate entry of sales orders into ERP system to include generation of sales order acknowledgment. Ensure sales person and/or client receives a confirmed copy of Order Acknowledgement and SalesForce.com  projects and/or cases are updated as well.  Provide tracking details upon shipment to sector team and/or client, as required.  Includes attaching all to SF.com projects/cases.  Perform AR reconciliations on a weekly basis, able to maintain target DSO.

    Ability to analyze client issues as they relate to past due invoices.  Trouble-shoot various

    client concerns; direct concerns to the appropriate resources for timely resolution. 

    Process requests for credit and submitting to Assistant Controller for approval.

    Work with Finance for ship approvals, as required.  Responsible for verification

    of backlog accuracy for designated vertical market/territory based on sales rep.

    Track all evaluations/Pilots within given vertical market from receipt of Request

    for Evaluation through shipment, purchase and/or return of goods.    Assist

    Monitors, prepares, and calculates payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees, including necessary reporting, journal entries, and related reconciliation.  Assists with the administration of the 403(b) plan and related 5500 reports.  Supports general accounting functions such as accounts payable, journal entries, bank reconciliation, account analyses, and year-end audit preparation.

     

    Primary Responsibilities

     

    -                      Prepares bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees.  Enters/interfaces timesheet management system (ezLabor) for HQ employee time worked and verifies entries to send to ADP; reviews and enters employee time worked into ADP.  Maintains employee records including, data on hires, terminations, benefits, and wage adjustments.   Creates payroll and management reports utilizing reporting software tool from ADP payroll.

    -                      Maintains employee profile information in PeopleSoft Expense Module (accounting software system).

    -                      Investigates payroll tax issues, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.  Maintains an effective record system and audits quarterly payroll tax schedules from ADP.

    -                      Prepares and reconciles payroll records from payroll system (ADP) sub-ledger and related General Ledger accounts for HQ employees.  Ensures that checks have cleared through bank accounts.

    -                      Coordinates with GL Accountants and AR Coordinator in journal entry preparation and invoicing for payroll.

    -                      Performs general accounting functions to include, but not limited to, accounts payable, journal entries, bank reconciliations, account analyses, and year-end audit preparation.

    -                      Audits and processes the annual W-2 wage reports.

    -                      Assists Supervisor, Payroll with worker’s compensation audit(s).

    -                      Assists Supervisor, Payroll with annual financial and 403(b) audit.

    -                      Assists Supervisor, Payroll with various payroll-related projects.

    -                      Assists Supervisor, Payroll with Plan Administrator reports for 403(b) contributions, loan payments, matching reconciliation, and the annual 5500.

    Position Qualifications

     

     

    The minimum requirements for this job include a high school diploma. Qualified candidates should have 3 to 5 years direct experience in payroll and/or related accounting. Must have 1-3 years of multi-state payroll processing experience.  Must have general accounting knowledge of inventory, accounts payable, and fixed assets.                 Receives, stores, distributes and ships products within establishments by performing the    following duties.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·         Reads customer order and work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

    ·         Assembles customer orders and work orders from stock and takes to the shipping department.

    ·         Verifies quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items of merchandise pulled for shipment and prepares items of merchandise for shipment.

    ·         Compares items pulled with customer's order and other identifying data. Notifies manager of any discrepancies that are found.

    ·         Compares, weight, measures, or examines packaging and contents of items for conformance to company and customer specifications.

    ·         Wraps and packs items of merchandise for shipment.

    ·         Determines method of shipment and affixes proper shipping labels on packages.

    ·         Records information such as name, package quantities, package weights and date.

    ·         Maintains stock of shipping supplies in the work station.

    ·         Receives stock from manufacturers and records amounts received.

    ·         Compares packing slips with actual amount received and notes any discrepancies.

    ·         Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.

    ·         Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence.

    ·
